Malo e Lelei Reader,
Happy Tongan Language Week!
Hey everyone! I want to tell you why I think Year 7 and 8 students should go to sports camp. It’s not just about playing games all day it’s so much more than that!
At sports camp, we get to learn how to work as a team. This means we have to talk to each other, help each other out, and work together to do our best. These are skills we can use not just at school but anywhere! Plus, sports camp is a great way to meet new people from other schools. We can make new friends and learn how different people think and do things.
As a leader at Edmund Hillary School, I really believe we should go to sports camp. It’s a cool chance to meet students from other places and have fun with them. When we play sports together, we learn how to work with people we don’t usually hang out with. This helps us become better team players and leaders.
Going to camp also helps leaders understand what it’s like to be part of the activities. We get to try new things, make new friends, and learn how to support others. It’s a fun way to build friendships and teamwork that go beyond just our own school.
Overall, sports camp is an awesome experience. It helps us have fun, meet new friends, and become better leaders and team members. I think every Year 7 and 8 student should definitely give it a go!
Thank you for reading my blog post.
